Trump’s refrain about being unpredictable in war made me think he’d be lousy at a board game, such as the appropriately-titled RISK (or Trump: The Game, for that matter.) And, I don’t believe he has the programming skills.) Seriously, did he need to fat-shame? Trump’s ridiculous speculation of the DNC hacker (and definite fat-shaming) made me wonder if he was a fan of South Park. (Note: I resisted the urge to substitute Chris Christie’s face, because he’s not 400 pounds. The only time I broke with my trusted format was to borrow a promotional photo of Christian Bale from American Hustle. (Thanks to Despicable Me for the image.) At least Gru had his moment of redemption. Then, Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” quote gave me another inspiration. (Thanks to The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring for the image.) He seems to fit right in. So, I had a little fun with the name of one of them, probably to lessen my stress. Trump’s lead in some polls was reason for concern. The question of when Trump would ‘pivot’ reminded me of the spoon scene from The Matrix. Then, a flurry of events forced my hand (and mouse.) I checked.Īgain, I felt like I had nothing more to say. Fun Fact: 10,000-point type is roughly 11.6 feet tall. I looked around and found a format that I liked and came up my first full meme. When it came time for Trump’s acceptance speech, an image alone couldn’t convey what I wanted to say. My meme muse didn’t speak to me again until the Republican National Convention. And thus my first meme, a wordless image, was born. Would he make it to the Iowa Caucus, or even the first primary contests? I saw him as the political equivalent of Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog.
